Friendly Pet Boarding Facilities in State College

At Mt. Nittany Veterinary Hospital, we take very good care of your pet while you are away. We provide a safe and secure environment for your pet with plenty of play time. We have a modern heated and air conditioned facility for your pet’s comfort.

Our kennels are located on the second floor, so please let us know if your pet has climbing difficulties or other special needs. We have comfortable boarding accommodations for your feline friends as well.

All boarders at Mt. Nittany Veterinary Hospital receive the personal attention they need and deserve from our caring veterinary staff. Your pet’s stress free comfort is our main goal. Your pet’s health should be your last concern while you are separated from each other. Because we are a veterinary hospital, we are capable of responding quickly to your pet, if the need arises. Our experienced staff can also safely and reliably administer any medication that might be needed. While your pet is boarding with us, we’d be happy to groom, bathe or provide him or her with a medical exam. Our grooming appointments fill up quickly, so please let us know you'd like bathing or grooming when you make the boarding reservation and we'll be happy to schedule that appointment too.

We recommend that you always call ahead to reserve a boarding space for your pet. To fill out your boarding information in advance, click on the link below to open our boarding form. Print the form, fill it out, and fax it to us at 814-237-1195. Or bring your completed form when you drop off your pet. Feel free to email us anytime with your boarding concerns or questions.

Please Note: In an effort to maintain a safe and healthy environment for all animals within our facility, our vet hospital policy requires that all dogs must be current on their rabies, distemper, Parvo and Bordetella (kennel cough) vaccinations, and be free of internal and external parasites. Your dog must have had a negative fecal test in the last month (30 days) if he or she is not on a heartworm preventative.

Cats must be current on their rabies and distemper vaccinations and be free from fleas.
