Dr. Katie Heckman grew up in Happy Valley and earned her BS in Animal Science and Veterinary and Biomedical Sciences from Penn State in 2020.  She then moved to Ithaca to study at Cornell University College of Veterinary Medicine where she received her DVM in May 2024. Dr. Heckman has a special interest in urgent care and soft tissue surgery. In her spare time, she enjoys riding horses, music, and spending time with her dog and family.
